For the sporting enthusiasts our branch offers variety of different sporting events.
1. Shuffleboard league. Quite a popular sport within the branch. League play every Wednesday night from Sept to April with members making up 5 teams. Teams participate in RCL Zone, District and Provincial competition. Ideal spot with choice of four tables in very comfortable lounge area. Great place to have a few games with your friends. Open to all members and guests. Monthly tournaments from January to April with several formats. www.kwslite.live.com
2. Euchre. In North America, a 24-card deck is most common using 9, 10, J, Q, K & A in all four suits. Come and meet other local Euchre players. 3. Dart League. The K-W Intercity Dart League. is a fun league that has been in existence in the tri-city area for over 20 years. Teams consist of a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 12 players and can be all male, all female or co-ed. Teams usually play one week at their home location and one week on the road. The regular season generally runs from mid-October to early March, with play-offs scheduled during March and April. More info at www.kwintercitydartleague.ca
